Family Tragedy Assistance Fund

The day-to-day realities of poor families who struggle simply to keep their children fed and a roof over their heads is unknown to most of us. Add to that harsh reality the death of a child or parent and the pressure of a proper burial, and the pain and the stress becomes almost unimaginable. Working with funeral homes, churches, neighborhoods, and families, Catholic Charities is able to alleviate some of the suffering of these families.

Special Programs & Events

In addition to our usual services, Catholic Charities sponsors Christmas and Thanksgiving meals, holiday food baskets, gifts for children and teens who may go without, Easter baskets, and back to school activities. The outreach of our special programs and events benefit hundreds of families each year.
