Catholic Charities of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties

La Quinta, CA – Catholic Charities is planning a hygiene products collection event at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Catholic Charities in Indio. Catholic Charities is inviting community partners to join in making this Holiday Season special for hundreds of families in the Coachella Valley. The Collection Drive is being held Sunday, November 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Catholic Charities will be collecting hygiene items, such as shampoo, body soap, deodorant, toothpaste, shaving cream, razors, toilet tissue, and baby diapers. All items will be distributed to families in the Coachella Valley.

“We take for granted how lucky we are; there are many families who cannot afford to buy hygiene products. We would like to make this a successful event for the many families in need,” says Belinda Marquez, Catholic Charities’ Director of Family and Community Services for Riverside County. “Working together we can truly make an impact.”
